Who doesn’t want clear, glowing skin that exuberates radiance from miles away? But it’s easier said than done. Skin is perhaps the most stubborn organ to work with. High maintenance and consistency are the practices that make it shine.

But sometimes, even regularity goes to vain. That’s just how the skin is: moody and unpredictable.

Skincare practices and regimes are easily overlooked. An enormous amount of people struggle with skincare problems, the most common being acne.

I am someone who struggles with acne, and truth be told: its sight makes me depressed and exhausted. No matter what I do or how consistent I remain with the prescribed regimen, my skin won’t cooperate.

From trying everything available over the counter at drugstores to endless dermatologist visits, I stand here with just one lesson stored: be patient with your skin.

If there’s one piece of advice I could give you all regarding problematic skin conditions (regardless of nature), it would be to stay consistent with your skincare regimen. I can not emphasize enough the importance of taking care of your skin.

Your skin is more than what you think it is. It is layered and complex; for it to become beautiful and glistening, you need to love it on its worse days. Yes! Despite witnessing all those hyperpigmentation marks, dry areas, and oily T-zones – you need to accept it.

Stress is the most underestimated cause of bad skin. It causes the release of inflammatory mediators such as prostaglandins and cortisol.

Sit back and relax. Go through these skincare quotes, and I’m sure you’ll get motivated to stick to your skincare routine.

Do not give up on your skin; the secret behind gorgeous skin lies in your acceptance towards it!
